Proposed Changes to Leave Canadians Feeling Sick?
Dear TPC Financial Group Ltd. clients, associates, and other interested professionals,
TPC Financial Group Ltd. works with professionals and business owners across Canada. Many of you might also be aware, while we service clients in all corners of the country; we ourselves are a family-run business. As such, we are acutely aware of the challenges and sacrifices that business owners are faced with on a day-to-day basis.
While we have done our best to use public platforms to spread information that can inform the general population, there remains a public perception that business owners are actively avoiding taxes and are not paying their “fair share”. While our last few articles have detailed the financial implication of these changes, our most recent article outlines the potential impact for those not directly affected by the proposed legislation.
IMPACT ON CANADIAN HEALTHCARE SYSTEM
While changes would impact small business owners all across Canada, physicians will arguably be impacted the most. Many small business owners will be able to lessen the blow of any new legislation by increasing fees and passing on the cost to consumers, however, the majority of physicians simply cannot increase their fees as they are controlled by the government.
How will physicians in different stages of their career react? Will we see an immediate change in the number of patients being serviced on a daily basis? What impact will these changes have on the Canadian healthcare system?

We encourage everyone to read, comment, and share the article if they agree. The more people that are aware of the challenges faced by professionals, the softer the federal government’s stance will be on the proposed changes.
