WorkSafeBC has completed its transition away from mailed paper statements and payroll reports.
As of 2026, all assessment statements, payroll reporting reminders, and annual filings are delivered digitally through WorkSafeBC’s online services platform.
This change affects how employers receive notices and complete payroll reporting.
What This Means in 2026
- No paper statements or payroll reports are mailed
- All reporting reminders and statements are delivered by email and online access
- Employers are responsible for:
- Maintaining an active WorkSafeBC online account
- Ensuring their email address is current and monitored
Missing or outdated email information may result in missed reporting deadlines.
What You Should Do Now
- Log in to your WorkSafeBC online services account
- Confirm your email address and contact details
- Ensure you can access:
- Statements of account
- Payroll reporting and payment portals
If you do not yet have an online account, one must be created to remain compliant.
